Solenoid Coils

Picture of six solenoid coils.

Etals solenoid windings are precision-manufactured to deliver consistent electromagnetic performance in actuation and control applications. Designed using high-quality conductive materials and insulation systems, they provide reliable magnetic field generation, fast response times, and efficient energy conversion. Suitable for use in valves, relays, actuators, and industrial automation systems, our solenoid windings are built for durability, thermal stability, and long operational life under repetitive duty cycles.

How does a Solenoid winding work and where do we find them?

A solenoid is a coil of wire that current flows through which produces a magnetic field, the magnetic field pulls or pushes a ferromagnetic core (plunger), that movement performs mechanical work – opening a valve, engaging a switch, etc.

Typical Applications for Solenoid Coils

You’ll find solenoids in systems where controlled linear movement is required:

Automotive systems

  • Fuel injectors
